Joe Martis
Hello. My name is Joe.
I am a Certified Home Advisor trained in all aspects of Building Envelope Science, Professional Inspection Services, Extensive Building Products Training, Consumer Finance, and true Project Consulting.
I have more than 20 years of construction industry, installation, project management, and customer service experience.
I studied Architectural Engineering and Building Science and System Integration at Milwaukee School of Engineering, MSOE. Additionally, I am a state of Wisconsin Construction Arbitrator for WAHI (Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors).
I have a passion for helping people determine the best construction solutions for their home because over the past 15+ years, I have met with hundreds, if not thousands, of homeowners who have had the misfortune of being victims of either improperly specified or improperly installed projects. Those failures have cost these homeowners tens of thousands of extra dollars out of pocket in order to rectify the problems.
Therefore, I have made the choice that it is my duty to help as many people as possible to avoid making those mistakes and help them determine the best solutions for their home improvements.

Here’s what to expect…

You will receive a phone call from Joe to discuss your particular needs. The preliminary information gathered from this call will allow Joe to be better prepared for your face-to-face meeting. This phone call will typically last from 10-30 minutes depending on the project.

Joe will conduct a professional, thorough inspection of the desired project area. This includes a Building Envelope overview inspection, along with an attic inspection, to validate the overall building ventilation and ensure it is properly designed for new project requests. The information gathered from this thorough inspection will allow Joe to properly diagnose any problems and accurately qualify any potential options for project solutions. The inspection typically takes 45-60 minutes to complete.

Joe will then meet with you to provide you with the details of his inspection. You will know exactly what’s going on with your home and the root cause of the problems and why they are occurring.

Now that you know exactly what’s causing the problem(s) or situation(s) with your home, Joe will provide you with the available options for your project. There will be no “hard sell” here. This discussion will simply be a factual discussion that covers the available options for your home that fits within your budget.

Joe will then answer any questions that you may have and allow you to determine what the next step will be. Once again, please don’t expect a “hard sell” to occur here. We’re not that type of company. You are perfectly welcome to take the information and “think about it.” We’re here to help you make the best decision for your home (not to “sell you”) and we understand and respect your individual buying process. Simply let us know what you would like us to do next.
Ready to Fix It Right the First Time?
Most homeowners overpay because they don’t get the right diagnosis first. Let us change that.
